Westborough: National Depression Screening Day

Once again, Westborough Youth & Family Services looks forward to offering the community free, anonymous mental health screenings Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. WYFS offers this event annually in association with the Assabet Valley Pastoral Counseling Center, as part of National Depression Screening Day. Members of the community (ages 6 through adult) are welcome to take part in brief mental health screenings for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Screenings consist of completing a brief questionnaire and meeting with a counselor. If interested, you are encouraged to set up a screening appointment by calling 508-366-3090 to reserve your place. Screenings take approximately 30 minutes. WYFS also continues to offer an online screening at www.mentalhealthscreening.org.
