Westborough: ‘Nice Children Stolen from Car’ author event

Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman St., Westborough, will host Barbara Allen, author of “Nice Children Stolen from Car,” Dec. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. Allen has been a freelance writer for over 20 years. Two years ago, she decided to write about growing up in the household of her father, a compulsive hoarder. The result is her memoir which tells the story of Allen’s teenage years and the struggles she and her siblings faced daily in their attempts to live a normal life in the midst of chaos. All are welcome to stop in and meet the author.
