Westborough: Storyteller Jan Krause Greene performs at Literary Arts Open Mic

March 27, 2014

Jan Krause GreeneWestborough – The Literary Arts Open Mic is proud to showcase storyteller and author Jan Krause Greene as the Featured Artist for Thursday, March 27, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., at Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman St., Westborough.

During the “80s and “90s, Greene, a resident of Marlborough, wrote Homefront, a popular newspaper column chronicling her life as mother, writer, and English teacher at Hopkinton High School. Now she writes fiction and poetry, and is the author of I Call Myself Earth Girl, which she presents throughout the New England area. Self-described seeker and visionary, Greene's writing examines life's big questions from the perspective of characters both young and old, struggling to understand their place in the world.

The Literary Arts Open Mic is designed to give writers, authors, poets, playwrights, singers, musicians, and amateurs a platform to share their talent.
