Westborough: Tatnuck author event – “Heartache and Hope in Haiti”

April 28, 2013

Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman St., Westborough, will host Len and Cherylann Gengel, authors of “Heartache and Hope in Haiti,” April 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. The Gengels have been married for over 24 years, and for most of those years worked together to raise their beautiful family, daughter Britney and sons Bernie and Richie. They had no idea their lives would be forever changed Jan. 12, 2010, when the Haiti earthquake decimated and destroyed most of Haiti, burying their daughter Britney in the rubble of the Hotel Montana. The Gengels have redirected their lives to make their daughter's last wish of building an orphanage in Haiti come true. This is their story. All are welcome to attend the event.
