Worcester: “Phantom of the Opera” at Hanover Theatre

At 7:30 p.m., enjoy the original silent film of “Phantom of the Opera from 1925, directed by Rupert Julian and starring Lon Chaney, Mary Philbin and Norman Kerry, at the Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge St., Worcester. Follow Christine Daae, an understudy at the Paris Opera, as she is guided to stardom by a mysterious and compelling voice that emanates from behind the walls of her dressing room. The voice eventually summons her to a meeting where she discovers a sinister man whose face is covered by a mask. The movie will be accompanied by Clark Wilson on the Mighty Wurlitzer. Save $6 per ticket when you purchase tickets to The Phantom of the Opera, The General and Phil Kelsall.
