Worcester: Civil War reenactment

The Central Massachusetts Convention and Visitors Bureau and the “New England Brigade” are proud to announce the 1st Annual Civil War Reenactment & Living History Weekend Oct. 13-14 in Green Hill Park, Worcester. This is family-centered event for all ages is free. Take a walk back in time 150 years and see how life was lived in military encampments, including the famous 54th Regiment (portrayed in the movie GLORY), the Worcester 15th Mass Regiment, Rhode Island 1st Light Artillery, and more. There will also be portrayals of Clara Barton, General R.E. Lee, and General U.S. Grant; a North vs. South “Town Ball” game competition; and more! ?Visit www.worcester.org for more information.
