Worcester: Pakachoag Thank You Celebration

The 30th Anniversary Thank You Celebration of Pakachoag Music School of Greater Worcester will be held Oct. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m., at Tuckerman Hall, 10 Tuckerman St., Worcester. Open to the public, the event features a cocktail reception (cash bar) and student showcase, faculty performance, and dessert and coffee. Performers include Jon Clark, trumpet, who, along with Silvia Irving, voice, is celebrating 25 years of service; Vladimir Odinokikh and Malcolm Halliday of the Shrewsbury Arts Alive program, who will perform Scaramouche by Milhaud for two pianos, using Tuckerman Hall's two Steinways; seven members of the violin faculty playing arrangements by Dvorak, Khachaturian and Leroy Anderson; and student musicians, who will be performing during cocktail hour.
