Worcester: Worcester Music Festival opening night

For over 100 years, the Warsaw Philharmonic has been one of Poland's most distinguished musical institutions. Join Music Worcester Oct. 19, at 8 p.m., at Mechanics Hall, 321 Main St., Worcester, for opening night of the Worcester Music Festival's 153rd season. Maestro Antoni Wit will be conducting the orchestra on their U.S. tour and the performance will feature exciting young pianist Yulianna Avdeeva, 2010 First Prize winner of the the 16th Chopin Competition in Warsaw.
