Westborough – There will be a Christian Passover Seder before the Maundy Thursday service, April 17, at 5:30 p.m., in Webb Hall at First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St. The Seder will include a walk through the Haggadah, and a light meal of soup and bread. The service will follow at 7 p.m.

Hudson – Holy Week will be celebrated at First Federated Church in Hudson with a series of services, beginning with Palm Sunday on April 13, and culminating with Easter Sunday April 20. All are invited to attend the services.
On Thursday, April 17 (Maundy Thursday), join First Federated Church at 7 p.m. for a quiet, contemplative Tenebrae Service, where communion will be served, several scriptures will be read, and candles will be extinguished reflecting Christ’s sufferings, betrayal, and death.

Marlborough – Thursday, April 17, at 11 a.m., the Marlborough Senior Center Men’s Group will host a discussion with Thomas Whalen on his latest book, JFK and His Enemies: A Profile in Political Power. The cost to attend is $5 per person, and lunch will be served at the event.
Whalen is an associate professor of social science at Boston University and an expert in modern American politics, American foreign policy and the American presidency. His commentary has appeared in the New York Times, ABCNews.com, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times and the AP.

Hudson – Maundy Thursday Eucharist with foot washing will be observed Thursday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 5 Washington St., Hudson, at the rotary in Wood Square.

Westborough – First United Methodist Church of Westborough will be participating in the ecumenical Good Friday service April 18, at 12 p.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 183 West Main St., Westborough.

Hudson – Holy Week will be celebrated at First Federated Church in Hudson with a series of services, culminating with Easter Sunday April 20. On Good Friday, April 18, an outdoor service will be held at noon followed by a simple meatless luncheon served indoors. All are welcome to attend the services.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, a 6 a.m. sunrise service will be led by Dr. Virginia Gray at the cross on the hill behind the church, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, the service will be held inside. An Easter breakfast will follow at approximately 6:30 a.m. The Easter service celebrating the Lord’s resurrection will be held later that morning at the usual 10:30 time.
