Here we grow again

Shrewsbury - The town has experienced its share of growing pains and may soon face even more as town officials review three proposals, all designed to help the town meet state regulations about affordable housing, known as Chapter 40B.

The challenge, of course, will be to select the proposal that will produce the best project with the least negative impact on the town. Most of the concerns to be addressed will be the impact the residential growth will have on the town's infrastructure. Officials will be looking long and hard at issues such as sewer capacity, traffic impact and the effect on school enrollment.
