It's a long shot
      Marlborough - With the recent voter approval of a casino in Middleboro, the flood gates appear to be opening for similar proposals throughout the state. Wealthy casino developer Sheldon Adelson has expressed interest in the Marlborough area as a potential site.

      Due to a reporting error, the article "Senior Center design moves forward" in the Aug. 3 issue of The Community Advocate incorrectly stated the status of the process of hiring a project manager for Northborough's Senior Center. Proposals for that position were due Aug. 8.
