Disabled veterans granted no-fee Transfer Station Stickers
      Hudson - Effective Sept. 25, the Hudson Board of Health has approved a request by the Veterans Services Department to grant disabled veterans of Hudson a nofee Transfer Station Sticker. If you are a Hudson veteran rated at 10 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Aff airs, and a resident of Hudson, you are eligible for the free Transfer Station Sticker.

Pro Musica Youth Chorus holds auditions
      Hudson - Lilly Clouter and Alexis Hire share a giggle Oct. 1 during the Pro Musica Youth Chorus registration and audition night under the direction of Jan Patterson in the Hudson High School Chorale Room. Local scouts canoe nine miles of Assabet River
      Hudson - After a few practice runs with flooded canoes, 10 Boy Scouts from Hudson's Troop 77 recently completed a 9-1/2-mile canoe and camping trip down the Assabet River. The group of boys, led by Troop Master Dennis Rawley and Assistant Troop Master Mike Volt, launched eight canoes and 200 pounds of equipment Sept. 21.

      Hudson - The Hudson Catholic High School cross country teams are proving this season that in some instances quality is better than quantity. The Green Wave boys team has just seven members and the girls squad has only two, but both the boys team and the girls performances are the best they've been in recent years.
