      Based on an interview with Gridiron Authentics manager Joe Lamothe, we reported that the Oct. 9 Patriots autograph signing event his company organized was a fund-raiser for the Shrewsbury Police and Fire departments ("Patriots event to benefit Shrewsbury Police, Fire departments," in the Sept. 28 issue of the Community Advocate).

      Shrewsbury - Brendan Sullivan, son of William and Eileen Sullivan of Shrewsbury, graduated from Hamilton College this spring with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics. He graduated cum laude with departmental honors in mathematics and was a member of Sigma Xi, a national honor society.
