All in favor say 'Aye!'
     Northborough - After months of wrangling over placement of a Super Stop & Shop in downtown Northborough, officials from the supermarket giant sued the town over its refusal to approve the plan as submitted. Although the Planning Board was holding out for an application that contained a traffic study based on not having a traffic light at the Route 20 entrance, Stop & Shop ultimately won a judgment in Land Court stating that the Planning Board could only approve the permit, either with or without conditions, but that denying the permit was not an option. Although it seems that the Planning Board was trying to gather information that would help it make an informed decision, the court's ruling ultimately tied the board's hands.

The event was opened to all registered and newly registered Girl Scouts. The event gave girls a little taste of what scouting is all about.
