Schedule announced for Dean Park fountains

Shrewsbury - The fountains at Dean Park will run this summer on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12 to 2 p.m. and 4 to 9:45 p.m.

Music to accompany the fountains can be heard on 91.7 FM on car and portable radios. The colored lights can be seen from 9 to 9:45 p.m.

Musical selections include: Stars and Stripes Forever, Sunrise Serenade, Moonlight Serenade, Claire de Lune, 1812 Overture, Stardust, Somewhere Out There, Rhapsody in Blue, When You Wish Upon a Star and America the Beautiful.

The fountains were a gift to the townspeople of Shrewsbury in 2004 by Barbara Donahue and family in memory of her husband, Irving James Donahue Jr.
