Anne Aselbekian, 80

Southborough - Anne (Kaderian) Aselbekian 80, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after a period of declining health.

She leaves her husband of 57 years, Oscar Aselbekian; her son, Mark Aselbekian; her brother, Noubar Kaderian; her grandchildren, Jill Aselbekian, Gregory Aselbekian and Zachary Aselbekian; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Aselbekian.

Born in South Boston, the daughter of Charles and Virginia (Terzian) Kaderian, she was a graduate of South Boston High School and worked many years for her father at his variety store.

Mrs. Aselbekian was a cook for the Mary Finn School in Southborough after her children started school. As a devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed caring for her family. She was also an avid reader.

Funeral services were held June 26 from the Morris Funeral Home of Southborough, with burial at the Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southborough Ambulance Fund, 21 Main St., Southborough, MA 01772.
