Cathleen A. Gault, 44

Hudson - Cathleen A. Gault, 44, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, June 19, 2007 surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves her beloved parents, Gerald and Carol (Bosquet) Gault; her loving children, Jaclyn and Timothy Provencal; her brother, Jay Gault and his wife, Andrea; and her niece, Ashley Gault. She also leaves her devoted partner, Susan Tack.

Born in Marlborough, she attended Hudson schools and was a 1980 graduate of Hudson High School. She later graduated summa cum laude at Fitchburg State College in 1984.

Ms. Gault worked as a programmer for the former Digital Equipment Corp. for many years. Most recently, she was a project manager at Carnegie Communications in Westford.

She was a charter member of the Kittyhawks Girls Hockey Team, winning the Girls National Championship in Encourse, Mich., in the 1970s. Up until her illness, she continued to play hockey with the Women's Nighthawks Hockey Team out of the Sports Center in Marlborough. She was an avid photographer, specializing in nature and the outdoors.

A funeral mass was celebrated June 23 from St. Michael's Church of Hudson, with burial at a later date in Forestvale Cemetery. The Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson directed arrangements.
