Pearl J. LaPrade, 90

Marlborough - Pearl J. (Stuczynski) LaPrade, 90, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Harold LaPrade, who died in 1971.

She leaves her children, Patricia Mitchell and her husband, Samuel, and Peter LaPrade Sr.; her grandchildren, Marc and Cynthia Lyons and Marjorie, Laura and Peter LaPrade Jr.; two great-grandchildren; and her niece, Virginia Micolites. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Born and raised in Northampton, the daughter of Joseph and Alexandra (Stencel) Stuczynski, she attended local schools in Northampton. She moved to Worcester in the 1930s, residing there until 1975 when she moved to Marlborough.

Mrs. LaPrade was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Marlborough. She enjoyed knitting, braiding and crocheting many items for family and friends.

Funeral services were held June 30 from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson, with burial at Saint John's Cemetery in Worcester. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140-1102.
