Weekly sports roundup: It was then the UConn freshman-to-be picked up the latest issue of "Sports Illustrated" (SI) magazine from his dining room table and began to leaf through it. When he got to page 37 he knew what all the fuss was about. Him. "I just said, 'Oh, my God' when I saw it," Teggart said. "I mean, I knew it was coming. I didn't know when, but I knew I was going to be in the magazine. So, even though it was expected, it was unexpected. I don't know how other people feel, but I don't think I ever imagined opening up a magazine, let alone that magazine, and seeing my face in it." Teggart is listed in the Faces in the Crowd section of the July 2 issue of SI, which hit the streets June 28, the day of all the electronic craziness in Teggart's life. Next to his face is a brief description of Teggart's high school athletic accomplishments, including his four-homer, seven-RBI effort in a baseball game against Leominster this year. Also listed are the facts that he made 50 of 51 extra points and 18 of 24 field goals during his Tomahawks career.
