Maureen A. Hutch, 86 Marlborough - Maureen A. (Foley) Hutch died Monday, July 9, 2007, surrounded by her family, at UMass Memorial Healthcare after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late James Hutch, who died in 1985. She leaves her daughters, Jane Correia, Suellen Hutch Landers and Karen Wiggin Hutch; her siblings, Francis "Bud" Foley, Sheila Foley and Celeste Muhr; her grandchildren, Amy Mercado, Maura Gallagher, Ryan Correia, Katie Landers, Stacy Correia, Kellie Hutch, Megan Landers, James Hutch, Michael Hutch and Shamus Hutch Landers; and her great-grandchildren, Justin Mercado, Shawn Dale and Aiden Mercado. She was also mother of the late Harry Hutch and Karen Gallagher. Born in Marlborough, the daughter of James and Mary (Gunning) Foley Sr., she was a lifelong resident of the city. She graduated in 1939 from the former St. Michael's Academy of Hudson and was also a graduate of a secretarial school in Framingham. Mrs. Hutch was the executive secretary for over 25 years at the Marlborough District Courthouse for Judge Belmonte, retiring in 1992. Previously, she was a secretary for the superintendent of the Marlborough Public Schools. She was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Church and a former member of the Ace of Clubs. Most of all, she loved her family and her grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 13 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home in Marlborough, with burial at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
