Thursday evening hours restored at library

Shrewsbury - Shrewsbury's Board of Library Trustees has announced the restoration of Thursday evening hours at the Shrewsbury Public Library. Due to budget cuts two years ago, evening hours had been cut. With the beginning of the new fiscal year July 1, library patrons will now find the library open until 9 p.m. Thursdays.

Summer hours for the library are Monday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
