Post Road Art Center reopens The Post Road Art Center has reopened after a vacation break. Currently operating under its summer hours - Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - the art center will resume its regular business hours of Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning Aug. 6. The Post Road Art Center is located at 1 Boston Post Rd. in Marlborough, and can be visited online at www.postroadartcenter. com.Customer Appreciation Day Aug. 3 Weichert Realtors, Ernie Houde Associates will hold a Customer Appreciation Day Friday, Aug. 3, starting at 5 p.m., at the Hudson Elks Lodge, 91 Park St. The festivities include a full buffet, kabobs and cotton candy; hot air balloon rides; an exotic bird show; pony rides; and games, contests and prizes. Ernie Houde Associates recently held its grand opening at 127 Lakeside Ave. in Marlborough.Auction and tournament to benefit Sunshine Kids Prudential Prime Properties has announced its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction will be held Monday, Sept. 17, at Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow. All proceeds will benefit the Sunshine Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. The foundation, founded in 1982, provides positive group activities, programs, trips and emotional support to children receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The money was a donation to the clubhouse's eight weeks of summer programs."We are proud to be a part of the summer program and we believe that the Boys & Girls Club is providing a valuable service to the kids of our community," said Tom O'Sullivan, plant manager at Air Products. "At Air Products, we believe strongly in supporting our communities and this is a great way for us to get involved with a program that is so eff ective and well run." Eastern Insurance Agency moves to Flagship Building Westborough - Eastern Insurance moved its Westborough offices to the second floor of the Flagship Building at 8 Lyman St. earlier this year to take advantage of the better location and space, Vice President Paul Williams said."It's working out well," he said. Eastern Insurance, headquartered in Natick, has 18 offices in Massachusetts and Connecticut and is the second largest independent insurance company in the state, Williams said. The company sells all lines of personal and commercial insurance. |
