Shrewsbury - Nate Grenache was a happy, healthy 2-year-old boy before his life changed in October 2006. Without warning, Nate suffered from a ruptured vessel in his brain, causing four massive strokes and requiring constant medical care from family and other health care providers.
Now his family is hoping to raise money to help cover the cost of Nate's around-the-clock care.
A Motorcycle Run will leave from SAC Park, 438 Lake St. in Shrewsbury at 9 a.m. Saturday Aug. 4. Registration for the event begins at 7:30 a.m.
The 50-mile run will be followed by a car show at SAC Park beginning at 10:30 a.m. The event will also include food, raffles and prizes.
The cost of registration in $20 and all proceeds will be placed in a fund for Nate's ongoing medical costs and specialized services.
