'Spoon Man' entertains in Marlborough
Cruise explained to children in the audience that he began playing spoons in the third grade when he did not get a drum set. A Michigan native taught to play by his grandfather, Cruise has now been playing spoons professionally for 20 years. His interactive act brought children and adult volunteers to the stage to participate and perform in a bluegrass number. The show also included educational messages for children to stay away from drugs, listen to parents and get an education. For more information about the Spoon Man, visit www.getspooned. com. |
