Ernest P. Lozeau, 89 Northborough - Ernest P. Lozeau, 89, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. His wife, M. Yvonne (Monfils) Lozeau, died in 1999. He leaves his sons, Roland Lozeau and Marc Lozeau and his wife, Deborah; his daughter, Julie Ann Laflamme and her husband, Albert; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Worcester, the son of Alfred and Agnes (Comtois) Lozeau, he attended Worcester parochial schools and Commerce High School and had been a resident of Northborough since 1959. He served in the China, Burma, India Theater as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. Mr. Lozeau worked as General Foreman and Quality Control Engineer for the former Koehler Manufacturing Co. in Marlborough for 45 years before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion Post #234 in Northborough, as well as a member of the CBI Veterans Association in Worcester. An active member of Saint Rose of Lima Church for many years, he was appointed as the first Parish Council Representative. He also served as lector and taught religious education classes. A funeral mass was held Aug. 1 from Saint Rose of Lima Church, with burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough directed arrangements.
