Florian M. Biron, 91 Framingham - Florian M. Biron, 91, a former longtime resident of Marlborough and Waltham, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Frechette) Biron, who died in 2003. He leaves his children, Andrea Barney; Paul Biron and his wife, Laura; Roger Biron and his wife, Colleen; Michelle Biron; and Donald Biron and his wife, Tricia. He also leaves his grandchildren, Todd and Brad Myers, and Zoe, Maxym, Carly, Madeline, Sydney and Joshua Biron; his brother, Charles Biron; and nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Elise Freccero. Born in Canada, the son of Lomer and Angelina (Veilleux) Biron, he attended Maris Seminary in Bedford for a time before serving in the Army during World War II. Mr. Biron was a self-employed painting contractor for Biron Bros. and later Biron Painting for many years, retiring at 79. One of his specialties was steeplejacking, or painting church steeples. In Waltham, Mr. Biron was a longtime faithful parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the American Legion. A funeral mass was held July 28 from St. Bridget's Church of Framingham Centre, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough. The Boyle Brothers Funeral Home of Framingham directed arrangements.
