Rotary Club donates $4,500 to local organizations

Marlborough - The Marlborough Rotary Club recently donated a total of $4,500 to local organizations, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest, Employment Options and Marlborough Community Services.

Boys & Girls Clubs of

MetroWest

The Rotary Club donated $1,500 to the MetroWest Boys & Girls Club to help fund the group's summer programs. The mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs is to provide a place where kids of all ages, races, backgrounds and beliefs come to play, learn, socialize and dream, all in a safe and supervised environment.

Employment Options

The Rotary Club's donation of $1,500 to Employment Options will be used to assist the agency in achieving its mission: "Through inspiration, support and encouragement, Employment Options creates a home away from home, where people can overcome barriers to employment and discover personal growth, self sufficiency and hope.

Marlborough

Community Services The Rotary Club's donation of $1,500 to Marlbor- ough Community Services will aid this community group's mission to promote, strengthen and sustain the well-being of local families by providing social services and wellness programs for people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds.

Rotary Club The Marlborough Rotary Club is part of Rotary International's Central Massachusetts District 7910. More than 1,850 business and professional men and women constitute the membership of these clubs - supporting and living the standards as stated in the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self."
