Westboro Dance Academy announces opening

Westboro Dance Academy, located at 3 Summer St., is pleased to announce its Grand Opening this year. Formerly Ms. Kim's School of Dance, the academy is now under new ownership. The academy offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, pointe, lyrical, modern and hip hop, with classes for ages 3 through adult, beginner through advanced. Westboro Area JCC Open House Aug. 22

Newcomers to the area are invited to an Open House Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Westboro Area JCC, 45 Oak St. During the event, representatives of the Westboro Area JCC, Beth Tikvah Synagogue, Congregation B'nai Shalom, Chabad of Westboro, and Greater Boroughs Hadassah will be on hand to discuss and answer questions regarding their organizations. Trial classes at Patricia Brosnihan Dance

Patricia Brosnihan Dance Center, located at 77 West Main St. in Hopkinton, will off er free trial dance classes Wednesday, Aug. 22, for all new students ages 3 years through teens. Styles include ballet and tap for ages 3-6 years; ballet, jazz and tap for ages 7-10 years; and ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop for ages 11 years through teens. Property acquired for The Willows at Worcester

The Westborough-based Salmon Family of Services has completed acquisition of the Our Lady of Mercy Health Care Center property in Worcester. C. E. Floyd Company, Inc. of Bedford will be the general contractor and financing is being by Health Care REIT, Inc. of Toledo, Ohio. The Willows at Worcester will include 40 new town homes and cottages with garages, 151 luxury apartment homes, and a renovated health care center. Deposits are being accepted, with anticipated availability of the first units in fall 2008.
