The annual Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival will be held Friday Sept. 28 through Sunday Sept. 30. Community meetings about the festival will be held Monday, Sept. 10 and Tuesday Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Selectmen's Old Meeting Room at the Town Hall. Interested residents are welcome to attend and find out how they can help.

Scarecrow on the

Common Contest

The 2007 Third Annual Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival Scarecrows on the Common Contest and Display will take place Tuesday Sept. 25 to Friday Oct. 19. Shrewsbury residents, groups, individuals and businesses, adults and children, are all welcome to create a scarecrow to be displayed on the Town Common. Prizes will be awarded in five categories.
