M. Jean Crawford, 85

Shrewsbury - M. Jean Crawford, 85, died at her home Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007.

She leaves her husband of 67 years, Laureston Crawford; her daughter, Jacquelyn Blair; her grandsons, Robert Solomita, Paul Wilson and Daniel Blair, serving in the U.S. Air Force; her great-granddaughters, Marie Solomita, Ashley Wilson and Jessica Scoville; and her brother, Herbert Davis.

Born in Palmyra, Maine, the daughter of Erwin and Winnie Davis, she graduated from Maine Central Institute.

Mrs. Crawford worked as a hair stylist at Roberts of Tatnuck for many years. She was a founding member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Shrewsbury, and was a member of the Altar Guild and the Martha Mary Group. She served as an officer in the Shrewsbury Grange and was a member of the Massachusetts State Grange.
