Gordon appointed to the MRA board Shrewsbury - Patrick Gordon of Shrewsbury was recently named to the Massachusetts Restaurant Association's (MRA) board of directors for a three-year term. The MRA was founded in 1934 to promote and represent the restaurant and food service industry. Gordon is the founder and vice president of Burton's Grill in Wakefield. Previously, he was a joint venture partner for Outback Steakhouse, overseeing the operation of five restaurants with a total volume of $20 million per year. The MRA is a nonprofit organization governed by officers elected from its members and a 41-person Board of Directors. The MRA represents the hospitality industry and restaurant personnel at both the regulatory and legislative levels of government. |
