Arthur L. Aaronson, 81

Northborough - Arthur L. Aaronson, 81, formerly of Ocala, Fla., died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at the Coleman House following a brief illness. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris (Woolf) Aaronson, who died in 2002.

He leaves his daughter, Andrea Hitchcock, and his granddaughter, Jennifer Hitchcock.

Born and raised in New York City, he was the son of August and Rose (Trummell) Aaronson.

Mr. Aaronson was a business executive for Aaronson Bros., Inc. in New York before moving to Florida. There, he served as president for Brockman Electric Supply in Sarasota before retiring. He enjoyed painting, especially water colors and sketching.

Calling hours were held Aug. 24, with private funeral and burial services. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough directed arrangements.
