Lisa M. Burnell, 43

Marlborough - Lisa M. (Adams) Burnell, 43, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007 at UMass Memorial Healthcare - Marlborough Hospital after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 20 years, Michael A. Burnell; her sons, Michael and Daniel Burnell; her siblings, Darel Adams and Patricia Jackson; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Marlborough, the daughter of Darel and Maureen (Gilman) Adams, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a graduate of Marlborough High School.

Mrs. Burnell was a homemaker who loved to cook for her husband and boys. She also enjoyed going to her sons' athletic contests at school.

Funeral services were held Aug. 29 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Our Danny Cancer Fund, UMass Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA 01613.
