Ellen S. Foley, 57 Marlborough - Ellen S. (Northrop) Foley, 57, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after an illness. She was the wife of the late John Foley, who died in 1986. She leaves her daughter, Tamie Darby; her son, Michael Foley; her siblings, Mary Quinlan, Susan McEnaney, Marian Constantine, Margaret Mullen, John Constantine, Edward Constantine, Thomas Constantine and Kevin Constantine; her companion of many years, Donald O'Leary Jr.; and her grandchildren, Melinda Darby and Timothy Darby. Born in Boston, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Carroll) Northrop, she lived most of her life in Marlborough and graduated from Marlborough High School. Mrs. Foley worked for over 10 years in the Town of Framingham's Clerk's office. She later worked as a bartender at the former Highland House in Marlborough and at the Marlborough V.F.W. Post 638. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at V.F.W. Post 638, the Ladies Auxiliary of AMVETS Post 1980 in Marlborough, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose of Marlborough. Graveside services were held Aug. 30 at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Natick. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements. |
