Florence Klein, 76

Westborough - Florence (Margolis) Klein, 76, formerly of Brookline, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center following a long illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Davis, and son-in-law, Philip Davis, publishers of the FiftyPlus Advocate Newspaper. She also leaves her grandsons, Joshua and Matthew; her sister, Lillian Brezniak; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston in 1931, the youngest of five children, she was the daughter of Jacob and Bessie Margolis. She resided in Miami Beach, Fla. and California, working as a real estate broker for many years before moving back to Massachusetts in 1972.

Mrs. Klein loved the search for historic artifacts, owning her own antique shop in Brookline for many years, and again in her retirement, frequenting flea markets and estate sales throughout New England.

She was also an active real estate broker and owned a Realty World franchise office in Brookline, as well. She was a long-time member of B'nai B'rith Women and numerous real estate and antique dealer organizations.

Funeral services were held Aug. 30 at Sharon Memorial Park, with arrangements under the direction of Perlman Funeral Home, Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation B'nai Shalom, 117 East Main Street, Westborough, MA. 01581.
