American Disabilities Association to host annual benefit
By Angela Greiner Contributing Writer

Hudson - The Hudson American Disabilities Association (ADA) is holding its annual fund-raising benefit dinner dance Saturday Sept. 15 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Riverside Rod and Gun Club. The nonprofit organization was established in 1997 and has since worked actively with the town and the community to provide advocacy and education for the community about people with disabilities.

The ADA will use the money raised for existing programs, including an annual scholarship for disabled children, a disabled puppet show, and an annual petting zoo and pizza party for children with disabilities attending the Mulready School in Hudson's Sunshine Camp.

The event is open to everyone in the community. Tickets are $10. For more information about the organization or to purchase tickets, contact Nancy at 978-562-2475 or Margaret at 978-562-0958.
