Frederick H. Heyn III, 52

North Grafton - Frederick H. "Rick" Heyn III, 52, formerly of Westborough, passed away at his home Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife of 32 years, Eileen (Roche) Heyn; his mother, Beryl (Vickery) Heyn; his sons, Michael Heyn and David Heyn; his daughter, Kerrie Heyn; his siblings, Geoff rey Heyn, Penelope Quetanarez and Jody Drew; his grandson, Jared Heyn; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston, the son of Beryl and the late Frederick Heyn Jr., he lived many years in Westborough before moving to Grafton 30 years ago. He attended Westborough schools and graduated from Framingham South High School, before attending Franklin Institute in Boston.

Mr. Heyn was the president/ owner of Bonner Sheet Metal Corp. and KMD Mechanical Corp., both in Worcester.

He was a member of the Siloam Lodge AF&AM in Westborough. He coached T-Ball and soccer in Grafton, as well as the Premier Maple League Soccer, and was a president of the Grafton Soccer Club.

Funeral services were held Sept. 10 from St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of Westborough, with private burial. The Britton-Summers Funeral Home of Westborough directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made the VNA Care Network and Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
