Araxie LaGreca, 90 Marlborough - Araxie "Grace" (Seferian) LaGreca, 90, died at home Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, surrounded by her family, after an illness. She was the wife of the late John LaGreca, who died in 1989. She leaves her son, John LaGreca, her daughter, Sara LaGreca; her siblings, Anthony Seferian, Lucy Jelladian and Nora Lalagian; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Marash, Turkey, the daughter of Hagop and Margaret (Haigian) Seferian, she was a resident of Marlborough for over 70 years. She attended Watertown schools and was a homemaker. Mrs. LaGreca was an assembler for several years at the former Austin Industries of Marlborough and also worked at the old Middlesex News for several years. She also was a former co-owner with her husband of LaGreca's Country Store on Hosmer Street in Marlborough for almost 20 years. She attended St. James Armenian Apostolic Church of Watertown, was a former Miss Watertown in the late 1920s and was a volunteer worker for the American Heart Association. She loved to cook and enjoyed gardening. Funeral services were held Sept. 6 from St. James Armenian Apostolic Church, with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Watertown. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. James Armenian Apostolic Church, Mt.
