Marlborough - Regina "Jean" (Dzikowicz) Trzaskos, 82, formerly of Lexington and Northborough, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Milford after an extended illness. She was the widow of Stanley Trzaskos, to whom she was married for 53 years before his death in 1998.

She leaves her sons, Rick Trzaskos, Bruce Trzaskos and Mark Trzaskos and his wife, Carol; her daughter, Angela Dubuc and her husband, Dennis; her grandchildren, Nicholas Trzaskos, Craig Dubuc, Leslie Dubuc, Ross Dubuc, Allison Trzaskos and Emily Trzaskos; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Amsterdam, N.Y., the daughter of Joseph and Cecelia (Janeski) Dzikowicz, she had lived in Marlborough for over 20 years. She was a 1942 graduate of Amsterdam High School and, during World War II, was briefly employed by General Electric in Schenectady, N.Y.

Mrs. Trzaskos was known to her friends as a tireless and enthusiastic walker and dancer her entire life. Her proudest and happiest moments were always on the dance floor. She was also happily drawn to little children and her many friends throughout her life.

A funeral mass was celebrated Sept. 22 from St. Rose of Lima Church in Northborough, with burial at St. Luke's Cemetery in Westborough. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Dawn M. Seymour, 44
