Junior Woman's Club supports our soldiers Marlborough - At the Heritage Festival on Main Street Sunday Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Marlborough Junior Woman's Club will be at work supporting U.S. troops overseas. Coolties, polymer-filled scarves that lower body temperature by one to four degrees, will be available for a donation of $3. For each one purchased, another will be donated to a soldier overseas. The group will also be collecting "Quarters for Quarters", which will raise funds to build homes for veterans, as well as to help construct Fisher House, a home-away-fromhome for families of veterans who are hospitalized. Denim squares will also be available for signing, for a donation of $1 each, which will be made into quilts for injured soldiers as part of "Operation Quiet Comfort."
