Golf clubs wanted for recess

Shrewsbury - Teachers at Coolidge Elementary School have asked people who have an unused set of golf clubs in their basement, garage or attic to please dust off the old clubs and donate them to the school for use at recess.

The clubs will be used in an experiment that has older students engaging in productive play during their recess period. Anyone who would like to donate their old putters can contact Coolidge Elementary School at 508-841-8880.

Non-golfers who want to make a donation to the school can view other teacher requests on the request tree in the school's main hall.
