Scarecrows stay on the Common

The scarecrow won second place in the "10 years old and under" category of the Scarecrow Contest during the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival. The town-wide celebration ran through September, and the scarecrow exhibit on the Common will remain on display through Friday Oct. 19.
