Mary B. Abbott, 82

Worcester - Mary B. Abbot, 82, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at UMass Memorial Healthcare - Marlborough Hospital after an illness. Her husband, Edward Abbott, died in 1989, and her first husband, Lawrence Falvey, died in 1966.

She leaves her daughters, Patricia Cutone and her husband, Jack, and Laura Falvey; her daughter-in-law, Ann Falvey, wife of the late Kenin Falvey; her siblings, Fredrick Moran and Shirley Johnson; her stepfather of 60 years, Clayton Jones; her grandchildren, Benjamin Cutone, Adam Cutone, Alex Falvey LaLiberte, Misha Chernov, Joseph Chernov and Matthew Chernov; her greatgrandchild, Noah Cutone; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Worcester, the daughter of Wilfred Moran and Laura (Gardner) Moran Jones, she was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester.

Mrs. Abbott retired as the personnel manager of the Denholm & McKay department store in Worcester, where she had worked for over 20 years.

A private graveside service was held at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements.
