Alfred F. Raiano Jr., 57

Marlborough - Alfred F. Raiano Jr., 57, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Bolton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Marlborough after a long illness.

He leaves his mother, Theresa (Plourde) Raiano, his siblings, Robert Raiano and Joanne Raiano; his nieces, Kelly Maccioli, Bridget Raiano and Megan Raiano; and his significant other, Pauline Adams.

Born in Marlborough, the son of Theresa and the late Alfred Raiano, he was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Raiano, a 1970 graduate of Marlborough Vocational High School, worked as an auto body repairman for 40 years.

He was a member of the Marlborough Fish and Game and the NRA. He was also a champion archer, a former member of the Dukes of Marlborough and loved woodworking.

Funeral services were held Oct. 11 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Our Danny Cancer Fund, UMass/ Memorial Foundation, P.O. 2795, Worcester, MA 01613.
