James A. Higgiston Jr., 65

Southborough - James A. Higgiston Jr., 65, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Margaret; their son, Andrew Higgiston and his wife, Karen; their daughter, Sarah Millerick and her husband, Shawn; his beloved grandsons, Zachary Higgiston and Aidan Millerick; his sister, Jane Darling; and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Higgiston, the son of Constance and James Higgiston Sr., received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University in 1964, followed by a master's in Economics from Rutgers University.

He will always be remembered for his unwavering faith and dedication to his family, friends, and the Red Sox and Patriots.

Funeral services were held Oct. 18 in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. Memorial donations may be made to the Boston University School of Medicine, Amyloidosis Research Fund, 715 Albany St., K-503, Boston, MA 02118. The Callanan- Cronin Funeral Home in Hopkinton directed local arrangements.
