Ann M. Silkonis, 98
Marlborough - Ann M. Silkonis, 98, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 at Bolton Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Marlborough after an illness. She was the wife of the late Anthony Silkonis, who died in 1977.

She leaves her nephew, Edward McCarthy; her grandniece, Megan Brodeur; and her brother-in-law, Benjamin Tamulevich.

Born in Lynn, the daughter of John and Mary (Berzen) Palesky, she had lived in Marlborough for most of her life and was a graduate of Marlborough High School.

Mrs. Silkonis was a fancy leather shoe stitcher for many years at shoe manufacturing companies in Marlborough. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Marlborough Senior Citizens.

Funeral services were held Oct. 17 from the Immaculate Conception Church, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. The John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements.
