Marlborough Regional Community Foundation awarded grant
The Marlborough Regional Community Foundation, Inc. has been awarded a grant from the Verizon Foundation. Carol I. Baribeau, regional director of Public Aff airs, made the announcement. The grant was awarded for a technology upgrade initiative which has been cooperatively worked on by the Marlborough Regional Community Foundation and Marlborough High School. The $8,000 grant will provide three Laptop Dell Computers, with three InFocus projectors and peripherals. Mary Carlson, principal of Marlborough High School, the grant was made possible by "a wonderful cooperative eff ort by the Marlborough Regional Community Foundation and the High School to work together in procuring three new upgraded technology work stations through the generosity of the Verizon Foundation."
