Hudson - Twenty students from Hudson Catholic High School walked down Main Street Oct. 25 distributing 1,000 black, orange and green balloons. The school, which is associated with St. Michael's Parish, gave the balloons to local children during the annual downtown trick-ortreating event.

Tracy Wesinger, who helped the students or- ganize the event, said it was a gift from the school to the community.

To fill the balloons, a massive, industrial helium tank was donated to the cause by Assabet Machine.

The orange and black balloons were in the spirit of Halloween, Wesinger explained, while the green balloon with the globe on it "represents the academic dedication to the global world that we are learning about."
