Levine named 2007 Good Neighbor winner

Northborough - The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) announced that Steve Levine of RE/MAX First Choice in Northborough was named a 2007 Good Neighbor Award winner. The Good Neighbor Award recognizes real estate professionals for their community activism.

Presented annually, the MAR Good Neighbor Award recognizes REALTORS® who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment tocommunityservicethrough volunteerism and civic and charitable contributions that improve the lives of local residents.

In 2006, Levine and his son, Dan, co-founded the MassachusettsChildren'sFund to fulfill the needs of thousands of underprivileged children across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by using private donations to provide baby food, health and nutritional education, and other emergency services to those in need. The non-profit organization picks up where state programs, such as W.I.C., Food Stamps and TAFDC, fall short. As Director, Levine has not only raised over $20,000 in monetary and "in-kind" donations, but he and his wife, Jamie, have directly helped children in need by being foster parents to over 30 children during the past two years, and were named Foster Parent Volunteers of the year for 2006 by Governor Romney. Overthelasteight years, Levine has been ranked as the Top RE/ MAX Agent in the five-state New England region, and has traveled nationally to speak to agents around the country.
