Police trying to locate man in pickup

Northborough - Police are interested in talking to the driver of a blue pickup truck who was seen following a boy on Juniper Brook Road in mid-October.

Det. Sgt. Bill Lyver pointed out that no crime has taken place and the driver of the truck is not a suspect of any type. But, Lyver said, police would like to know what the man was doing in the area.

On Oct. 13, a Spruce Hill Road resident reported seeing a navy blue Dodge pickup around the same time the boy on Juniper Brook Road was followed. On Oct. 18, a woman living on Spruce Hill Road noticed a blue pickup parked near her driveway. As she approached the truck, it drove away.

Lyver said the Northborough Police Department knows little about the man, who Lyver described as balding with a beard but no moustache, and wearing dark sunglasses.
